WordPress Website Hosting
You’re here because you either attended one of my training classes or one-on-one business counseling. I am often asked to recommend website hosting for WordPress. I have been fortunate to use many different service providers over twenty-five+ years. The truth is most can do a sufficient job and they will all end up making you angry at some point.
- Don’t buy it until you know exactly what your website requirements will be.
- Good customer support is important.
- Ask people you know about their experiences with their web hosting provider.
- Don’t decide based on price alone.
All I’m going to do here is provide a list of WordPress website hosting providers. As I’ve probably already advised you, please do your own research. Search Google for reviews. Ask your peers/colleagues which they’ve used. Remember, you can always move your WordPress website to another service provider in the future if you are unhappy with your current one.
There are many more service providers. This is just to get you started. My personal preference (lately) has been SiteGround — their StartUp plan is typically sufficient for a first small business WordPress website — not an endorsement, just my experience. Please do some of your own research to be confident in your decision. (And please don’t ask my opinion about GoDaddy.)
